Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Optical Sales Associate to join our dedicated team. The role requires proficiency in optical sales and a keen focus on providing exceptional customer service. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers are equipped with the perfect pair of glasses or contact lenses, specifically tailored to meet their needs and budget.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
● Showcase proven experience in optical sales, including glasses and contacts.
● Understand and cater to patient needs and budgetary constraints.
● Educate patients on the appropriate care for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
● Maintain organized and accurate patient records.
● Notify customers promptly regarding order readiness or potential delays.
● Adjust frames and perform minor repairs proficiently.
● Collect necessary measurements and collaborate with labs for lens and frame orders.
● Proficiently manage insurance benefit inquiries and billing for optical materials.
● Demonstrated knowledge of Crystal PM or other practice management software is a strong plus.
Qualifications:
● Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
● Sales Experience: 1 year minimum
● Language: Bilingual (A strong plus).
● License/Certification: Driver's License (Required); ABO Certification or State Certification in the Optical Field (Preferred).
● Ability to Commute: 4750 The Grove Drive, Suite 164, Windermere, FL 34786.
Schedule:
● Full-time salaried position with a 38-hour work week.
● Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
● Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
● Weekends as needed
● Full-time & Part-time options available
Salary: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour with bonus opportunities
